Great video! The stages look awesome. 

And you showed us Loki! I thought you'd end the video as soon as the battle started, as not to spoil the surprises. I suppose there's much you didn't show. I expect to see at least one sub-boss before facing Loki (maybe the Enchantress turning those asgardian NPCs against the Heroes...).

Once you said you wouldn't put Asgard (and Atlantis) into the main story because it would be hard to find sprites, and edits, etc, and so it wouldn't be "complete" (though now it seems it's a story), but honestly, I see a great stage, it could easily be in the main game! And as for story reasons... this is a Marvel game: that's the easy part! ;)





 
Hey guys im looking for some sprites to be 1 life item, and one to call Prof X and Dr Strange
 
i have one xavier icon head from achievments of xmen konami remake

for 1up i think stanlee head would be nice

thats the problem,
i want one sprite to fit to xavier and dr strange.

i already coded it (thanks bloodbane for script posted somes pages ago)
and already setted at stages, im using cerebro head.

You could go with the "radio" theme and use a cell phone or a walkie-talkie to call Xavier or Strange or whatever.

Or maybe a glowing "M", for Marvel.

Or a coin, flipping on a loop, each time showing a Marvel Heroes team icon on its face: the X for x-men, the 4 for the Fantastic Four, the A for Avengers, the SHIELD logo, the Spiderman, etc). Hmmm... perhaps which helper it summons depends on which icon is showing on the coin... and you can either animate it real fast so players don't know who they'll summon, or real slow, so players can choose who they want to call.

Oh, the ideas... LOL :P

I like the "comic book" item for extra Life. :)

 
Marvel logo and flip coin are good ideias, i will do some tests here......

put cerebro on one side and a cape, eye, or book on the other.  one side blue one side red.

leaf shadow worked really well

You need to use updatescript to show that and of course the sprite to be shown
Oh is this going to be generic (for all characters) or just for specific characters?

BTW about the global variable, will it be cleared when player enters menu?

A generic sprite for all, what i put at that script?
....
And i want to clear var at menu, atm if i quit and enter at other mode i still can use that item
 
well I hope only the person who grabs it can use it.

I more wonder what they will do...I kinda guess for strange cast some spell or turn every enemy into boxes or animals, hold all enemies in place with cyttorack bands, etc...

but what about prof x how does he clear a screen?  Especially with robots involved
