Awesome buddy im downloading now. I will try to get a playthrough done and uploaded to my channel sometime tomorrowSo I'm finally done with this game! It's based "mainly" on the Vintage Action Figures while borrowing elements from some of the Mini Comics that came with the action figures, Filmation Series and the Mike Young Productions Series. The game is complete HOWEVER, based on feedback I might upload an updated version if I feel that I overlooked at any glitches or if I think that some issues really need to be improved.
On this video you can see that, following Bloodbane's suggestion, I added a Forward Dash move that will allow He-Man to dodge and get behind some enemies, as long as they're not too large. I also found here on Chrono Crash a demo with some scripts for "Shadow Trails". An effect similar to the one used on Street Fighter Alpha for Special Moves. That effect was added to some of He-Man's moves and it looks mad cool.
The Download Link (Windows) is on the video's description on YouTube. I haven't uploaded it to Chrono Crash yet. For some reason, where I am right now the Internet is pretty slow and it took me over 2 hours to upload it to DropBox. I'll try later.
Sorry, I tried uploading the file and it got stuck on 8 %.
Forward Dash is now easier to perform! Just press DOGE while holding FORWARD.
I have to agree here. I can even try to give you a hand here with this @GaBoTiCoThe only thing that kind of spoils it for me is the use of default sound effects, you go to all the effort in creating a whole new visual world and then cheapen it out on the audio, it's a disservice to yourself @GaBoTiCo
Thank you so much! I hope you like it...this looks great... am a sucker for platformers xD
have to put this in the to play list... looks great
Indeed, way better nowSo, I replaced 2 sound effects (Jump & Get/Item pick up). I think it makes a difference, for the better.
Thank you SO much! Much appreciated.Indeed, way better now
Thanks a lot! For real. I hope you like the game whenever you have a chance to play it.looks amazing!
Yeah, sorry dude. I kind of like a good challenge but also, I have no idea how to create checkpoints with OpenBOR. But then again, I remember playing the original Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for the NES and as hard as they were it was also satisfying to beat the levels. It took pretty memorizing where enemies were spawned.the only bad thing: you lost a life and you going first place...again.![]()
