Hey guys it's been a long time but I finally completed Rushing Beat version 1.
I still have to finish the alternate levels and add a few more things but the core game is complete. Hope you guys enjoy and thanks for the support.
Changes from the original:
-Better hit boxes and attack boxes.
-New moves and animations for Norton and Ozzie.
-Rising attack for both characters pressing up + attack that can also be preformed by pressing down up + attack .
-Running animations and attacks.
-New grab attacks and slams.
-A neutral jump attack and a forward jump attack.
-Can escape enemy grabs although I made the timing difficult.
-Some attacks while in angry mode are more powerful and actually have new sprites or effects to showcase this rather than just a palette change and slams like the original.
-Can get damaged while in angry mode, but you don't go into pain animation and attacks don't cause as much damage.
-Can't pick up weapons while in angry mode (don't really know how to script this for now).
-New weapons and weapon animations.
-More enemy variety and attacks.
-Bosses have more moves and are more unique.
-Added new traps and stage elements.
-Intro and Ending based on Japanese version with added story elements.
