Street Fighter 6

I need to eat some serious crow. I debated with @NickyP about commentary, saying it added life to a game. Yeah, that was before I knew the commentary was done on a fourth wall breaking meta level, trying to simulate fighting community events instead of an in world atmosphere. That's about as cringe worthy as it gets for me.

LAME, also a pet peeve of mine is too many special effects, having all these stupid colous flashing every where, it's almost like a soft censorship for the violence and instead of seeing characters actually hit each we see pretty colours  Marvel vs Capcom 3 was unplayable for me because of it.

They did it in movies years ago, you'd see the action of a fight scene but now someone throws a punch and you see about 5 different camera angles for 1 attack, I want to see violence please especially in a fighting game not beautiful wind effects and fluorescent colours.

Indeed, as soon as i saw the Splatoon crud it made me angry.
the sensible thing would be for capcom to make it optional, fortunately there is the option of modding the thing on the PC

Yeah the splatoon nonsence is terrible i hate it aswell. Doubt there will be an option to turn it off either :( " On console im sure there will be mod's on the pc version to remove it like you said" But not sure what capcom is thinking with this stuff. The game actually look's good but the splatoon stuff can die a thousand deaths hahaha

What I think is Capcom try to give a fresh trendy etc feeling to this game.
If it's a good way to attract more players + possibility to turn off it, it's ok, but just like you guys, I doubt...

Yeah, see, this commentary nonsense needs to go. I'm not going to EVO and I will never be a streamer. It's so jarring, and completely takes me out of the game. I get it--Capcom wants to modernize and be hip, but this is cringe.

What's all this about Splatoon graphics, by the way? The hit sparks don't seem too flashy to me... but then again, I also play a lot of Blazblue and Under Night.

Yeah thats kinda my point, they're both cartoony anime games with lots of flashy colours all over the place, it suits those kind of games more but it's still a little over the top for me, Street fighter 6 when they hit each other with normal attacks theres massive spark and wind explosions over the characters to the point where you can't see what's actually going on which to me seems like they're tryna make up for hide/something like crappy mechanic or collision box's.

double counter while countering? what's going on? oh wait we can't see :ROFLMAO: There's just no need for it, tone it down some, a lil bit smaller, alittle transparency, stop trying to look and sound cool and just concentrate on the fighting.

I know that Capcom always makes SF series more special with their even numbers but this time they did it much bigger than before 😮 so yeah this is always positive
So far there are no complaints about the fighting gameplay itself except for the paint splash effect which is a bit annoying, even though it looks good for screenshots
I interested in new world tour feature sadly there is no beat em up gameplay at all there all fights are done like vs fighting. Well at least this time we can get a full map of modern metro city.the city looks very interesting it's just that the graphics are not good I think ps4 can still do more than this for open world type
characters creation also look lifeless and boring so I hope the gameplay will be fun otherwise this feature will be useless
I am sure real SF players don't seem to be touching this feature at all they made it to appeal to a wider range of audience and beat em up fans.

*well it's just me of course.. for some reason in recent years I have become very picky in playing a game

I'm looking forward to creating my own street fighter character, I think it's something we've all fantasized about with the franchise, would be nice if we could get a OpenBor tournament going like back in the old days with SF 4 on Lavalit.

I especially like the sound accessibility options @18:40, this will be great for people with vision problems or things like photosensitive epilepsy who have to play games with the TV brightness and contrast really low, Welldone Capcom for doing that. (y)

Also @18:12 battle damage toggle is fantastic.

Also Also @0:32 @DCurrent looks like someone's played Night Slashers with Ortega

Ouch! That bad huh? I admit I'm not all that excited for this, but I was hoping it wouldn't be like V's messy release.

I'm more focused on its world tour feature. For me the graphics (character creation and Metro City) is bad. as the gameplay, too many rules less of freedom
so yeah it's bad.

Too many rules?!?
Let me guess, being forced to go to certain locations or within certain paths?
it's very linier, always need to doing something first before player can go other area. Even go buy a hat in store is a must, food, talking with certain npc
every step already designed sequentially without freedom

it's very linier
*linear* So it's something like a 2D sidescroller like Kung-Fu arcade game but with a little bit of Beat Em Up vibes to it? Also, that other one sounds like you have missions to do when you go around to other areas, right? Going with missions? Hmm... that sounds like it's gonna be fun, unless you are right about it.

World Tour mode is basically a stripped down open world rpg, where battles happen in street fighter style. You get to explore a couple of locations, but its not fully open world, it takes a lot of tropes from other rpgs where you have to complete certain tasks to progress to a new area or unlock new moves.
Its certainly better than what was done in MK 11's krypt mode.
If you into SF and Final Fight lore, then you will really enjoy it, yes, it gets repetitive, but thats basically most open world games these days.
Im just glad there is actual proper single player content this time, as someone that doesnt always like the toxic environment of the online.

the only thing I like is at least we can see the modern design of metro city
for the rest, no
