Support for save states?

Hi. I just started using OpenBOR. Can anyone tell me if there's a patch, plugin, mod, script etc that allows me to use realtime save states in any mod? Preferably working the same way they do in most emulators(ie save state with up to 5 or 10 slots).

Pretty much this. It would be possible to script using the filestream system, but the effort to do so would be no where near the payoff when a stage by stage save system is already in place.

thank you for the reply. I was unaware that a stage by stage save system was already in place. I'm assuming this is universal for all mods across the board?
