What Games You Like To See?

I must recognize myself as being against to play those mods that are not beat'em up, but I would love either a great Shinobi + Ninja Gaiden game, after watching that Cvania-esque demo game around from late, complete will wall jump & climbing, subweapons, etc. as well as a Gradius X Darius game.

I would like to see the MK games being made to tell the story of the games (MK1-MK??), with all the characters that are in mugen I believe that' possible!!

Also, I'm surprised no one remade MK: Sub-Zero Mythologies yet lol, that game needs a proper remake as well!!

I play lots of RTS games that involve war in order to test out real world solutions .

I once won a 4 vs 3 match with one player not playing his role , I was a front line player so I let the enemy assume we had large number by making cheap ineffective troops and periodically disabling he enemies intelligence apparatus along with biking up my technology level rapidly in order to put tech them as this gave me a major range advantage while my team members just managed to hold off their guys . We had no air support so I had to play my own role and air . I managed to push out a few long range units and a few units to take damage while flanking the enemy from the rear making everyone quit .

Although this all may look simple it took only 25 minutes of game time to do .

Too many to count just in OpenBOR, just like Double Dragon but with Marian and Abobo playable as a team, just like some version tried and failed to do. But one I wanted to see...something like the NES version of Ikari 3, but maybe with different characters (Athena (the Goddess, not the Idol) and Helene (from the mobile game only released in Japan) from SNK). But that's very hard to mod, specially for an overhead beat'em up.

Interesting...

Making an RTS with OpenBOR is possible, but it would be tedious work and a lot of it. This is one of the very few times I'd suggest a different engine, although which one I don't know. I'm sure there are some good RTS type engines out there, but I don't know anything about them.

DC

WayForward Ultimate Alliance. Taking all of WayForward's IP and having them team up throughout 4 or so 8-stage quests and take down enemies.

Real talk, I would pay for someone to make a proper Metal Slug openBOR game, where you play as basically every Metal Slug character, and can traverse every level of every Metal Slug, just killing and probably getting killed. Cause honestly, nothing would be better than seeing an ACTUAL Metal Slug beat 'em up, and I'm not talking using the MUGEN style of Metal Slug characters, no no no, I'm talking using the Metal Slug sprites from the actual Metal Slug franchise. Turning that platformer/shooter into a beat 'em up would be pretty sweet. Unfortunately, I don't know jack squat about how to make a game, and based on the tutorial videos I've seen, it looks far too complicated to me. Like, I was expecting it to be much easier, but apparently it requires a hefty amount of "coding" and whatnot, which I'm completely crap tier at.

But in all honesty, if someone were to make such a game, I would gladly give them money for their work (just so as long as they actually make the kind of game I'm expecting to have made).

Beat'em up? you want Marco, Tarma, Fio, Eri and co use their knives (and tonfas) instead of guns?

If you do, you might need to redesign many things cause most if not all enemies in Metal Slug series are for shooting not for beating

A openbor manhunt type game with lots of reactive animation, break someone back and it shows on the character model, lots of gore, brusing, different stages of stamina etc

I would like to see a 16 bit style 4 player - widescreen TMNT arcade & TMNT nes, TMNT 3 & turtles in time arcade/snes/hyperstone heist all in one package.

the graphics Used as a base should be the turtles in time arcades's graphics & game-play mechanics for enemie's AI

the first Arcade portion should have all the extra NES levels & extras, if there where any.
the second part (manhattan project) is pretty much a 16 bit Arcade-style graphical upgrade to the NES version (bigger sprites)

the 3rd part would be a hyperstone heist/ turtles in time merger (maybe?)

SNes features should  be added (like slash as  4 player exclusive extra boss enemy to defeat in the prehistoric level)
the added mode 7 for the futuristic level. etc.
It is pretty much a 16 bit looking & mechanics rescue -palooza (from what i have seen so far)

Additional time-periods could make it even cooler; we could have eras like Ancient Egypt, the Ice Age, Feudal Japan, the Classical Maya, the Roman Empire, the Cambrian Explosion, the Middle Ages, and the Revolutionary War. Maybe even an additional chapter with elements of the first NES game, the Gameboy games, the GBA games, etc? Cement Man may work as a mini-boss before Slash.

I'd like the Crime Fighters series to make a comeback. The characters from the original to Violent Storm were awesome! It's been two decades since the last entry in the Crime Fighters series and I think it's time for a new entry with a large roster of characters.

I wish that this Conan Atari Jaguar game  can be adapted and finished in Openbor:

The 1st comment in that video, could it be the original developer?
