Canceled World Arena project

Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
Will the fact some of the enemies in the Wrestling levels are also unlockable characters apply to the other two modes as well?
 
All you'll have to do is add weapons for the playable characters to use.
Anything from knifes, machetes, lead pipes, hand guns, shurikens, grenades, machine guns etc.

Thanks. Keep in mind this is not an actual wrestling game. This is just one of the themes.
It just take 10% of wrestling games mechanics.

Yes, only few of them. but they will have a toned down system. (less animations/attacks...)

I'm not a weapon guy, but I already added few weapons in the game system. I can't recall well right now...
-beat modes : knife, plank, gun, machinegun, chain...
-wrestling mode : chair, table...
 
Your chars are from so many different games that I wonder if all of them have a fluid animation. It's so complex to find a way to harmonize so much sprites! What I've seen at the moment prove you're looking for that, so I congratulate you for this ambitious project. ;)
My principal nit pick is a saturation a little bit too high on some sprites.

I'm not too slow with sprite editing, but the fact I'm very slow in coding, makes the entire process very long.

I remember playing Knuckle Bash at the arcades. So this game will sorta like that right? I'm all in for it when the project is finished!

But sure, this is a great opportunity to make a cameo.
In fact, one of my enemy character in wrestling/VS mode is a reference to Hogan, but more like a bootleg version of him. The kind of hongan you see in non-WWF licencied games (konami, taito...)

Yes, it can be compared to Knuckle bash in some aspects
+ some other elements from Capcom and SNK games + AODK, SOR, DD...

Maybe you could initially make a first version with light mechanics for the gameplay and after you could make it more complex step by step with maybe more motivation thanks to a potential bigger feedback of the community.

To be short :
I delete all unnecessary/debug/incomplete stuff.
I will finish Rachel/template
Update Enemy template and Referee/NPC template

Then I can finally start making levels.

I still keep the demo you helped me to do for irish whip system.
Because it's still possible I add this feature in the game later.

I really want to go to the essential stuff ASAP and start making levels! :)

Depending on game mode
-regular beat em ups type levels.
-various countries backgrounds (world tournament fighting games type)
-apocaliptic BG for zombie mode
-wrestling rings BG

About video, nothing interesting to show about BG. For the moment, beside of the ring BG, everything is just temporary BG.

I have to say I cannot find energy to work on it right now.
Eventually it will be better in few weeks.  ???
 
A glimpse of something I have been working on.
I mostly reused some sprites from my other moves to frankensprite this move.
One of the special throws "Tombstone piledriver"
