My plan is make him the boss of the first area and turn a regular enemy on the follow stages like Walther Terhune from "Cadilacs and Dinosaurs".

Finishing this animation my game will be 99% done but I´m having some little problem with these sprites.
OIlusionista gave a good advice about a problem on the left leg when the character runs(Cody seems hobbling while runs).
I tried some things for to fix the sprites  but the problem persists.
Could you give me some suggestions for to solve this?

What I would do is find a character run animation from any game with a close build to Cody then put place it in a layer below Cody in your paint program then move around Cody's body parts until it looks right then clean up each image.

I used this with Kazuya he has a gut punch (B,F,A) this move was made using this technique I copied Shingo's D,F,Light Punch move from KOF.
 
Hello Birnbaum this is a project that I am very looking forward to play, as you said the project is 99%, you could make a video to see the adjustments you made, and once again congratulations for the excellent project.
 
I´m having some problems with my OBS studio since some windows update messed my notebook and I stoped to record gameplays for a time.
Maybe  I make a gameplay along all the game in a test run but it could spoil the surprises on the levels of the game .
If you dont care I may post more screenshots of the game.

Glad to see your project is alive.
I would suggest to use reference for the pose of run, just to avoid having weird result.

I can't wait to see more.

So... I liked it.

but:

* The ground attack is admittedly more worthwhile in standing combos as a low sweep. Maybe it should cost a little less?
* Players could get an option to more reliably avoid being juggled.
* It's odd that the single stick dynamite attacks don't result in a burn effect.
* There's an Akuma statue in the second stage that seems impossible to collect. Do I need a specific character to do so? Oh, I need Guy!
* Maybe give players a few more credits?
* Mana pickups would be worthwhile
* Items should more frequently be dropped by enemies
* In the second level, the fourth/fifth Kang and onwards shouldn't come out until one of the other Kangs is defeated.

OK.I can take a look on this.

I tried modify jugglepoints/jugglecost numbers but it doesnt work.Maybe I could use Pierwolf's solution adding a cancel/escape move on the fall animations  and avoid the excessive juggles.

Yes, only Guy and Chun Li can take this item(Chun Li and Rainbow Mika are unlocked on Arcade mode).
I was think to add rare items to take along the game and collect it to achieve extra stages or secret fights but it is still under work.
Another rare item in the game is Vega's claw.If you have lucky and kill him with a critical attack he lost his claw and the mask is broken.

Congratulations on the release of the game!I always like seeing CPS2 style mods :)
It plays well, but i'm having trouble balancing my number of lives against the enemies, i've gotten up to the level 1 boss, birdie, and i seem to only be able to deal "chip damage" to him, only after i beat all the thugs, can i stand a chance against birdie, but by then i am usually out of credits. It seems to take a while to take him down n.n,
I cannot figure out an effective deffensive technique or pattern.
Although, this was just my experience, maybe i'm not that great as a player n.n,, haha. I'm sure that factors in.
I think i will wait until the version with increased credits and more enemy item drops comes out and try again, i really like the feel of the game overall, and these additions may help  having better odds against the CPU n.n

Maybe the best choice for beginners should be Zangief.Avoid stay in front of Birdie, use pliedrivers and throws on the normal thugs until complete your MP bar.Grab Birdie and use the Hypermove.Repear it 2 times and you will defeat him easily.
I will try add more stuff for the game.
