Maybe I will promote She-Hulk to a NPC - which would make her one of the best NPC of the game - and remove her from the Helper section.

Spider-Man has A LOT of options to be used, but many are just cosmetic changes so not all costumes will have different moves, only the ones which really has it. Symbiont (black) suit is one of the examples - he is just stronger, nothing more.
But Miles Morales version has some different powers.
 
YEah, maybe I can use her as Red She-Hulk for Helper.

I don't know if we talk about the same thing. Your subject seems to be the fluidity but I meant certains moves lacks, especially throwing ones. I guess you (or a colleague) will edit the sprite by mimic moves from another Spider-Man sprites. If so, what sprite? CPS-2 one?

PS: Maybe I would have been clearer if I had used the word animations instead of moves?
 
We can't have the same fluidity of the CPS2, specially when all other characters has less frames.
Looking at the original sheet, I see that I will need to make some transition frames for some moves, but I think we can reuse some other sprites, very quickly, to make it more fluid.
 
I'm still unclear. I don't talk about fluidity. I just ask how do you plan to create new animations like throwing animations or jump kick since the sheet dosen't have this kind of sprites.
 
The sheet has enough sprites for the moves you mentioned. Over the years, I've developed the skill to reuse sprites to make new animations.
With a simple rotation (and I am not talking about a complex one) you can have a new attack already. Then you can frankensprite the other moves to create new ones.

I can easily see both moves you mentioned already on that sheet, for example.

For the next release, I will include Spider-Man as a HELPER for now.  On a future release, he will be playable.
Probably, he will have...6 different modes, like  a 6 in 1 character.

About the traps, physical traps (like the spears) hits everyone including the enemies. But magical ones (like the magical fire) hits only the player

The stage looks dark because it takes place in very early hours of the day, when the sun just had been rise.
(dunno if someone had noticed, but on the game there is a time progress - the time goes by in each stage)

And lets talk about something: Spider Sense.
I was thinking on how to do it and maybe it will be good to make it a random dodge when he is attacked while standing.
He would have a 25% change to automatically any attack.

Any other idea?

 
Spider-Sense could work doubly effective with traps. And maybe give him a ratio of critical hits?
 
I think I had a couple of ideas for Spider-Sense back when I was brainstorming character concepts but I only remember one of them where it's his 'SPECIAL' maneuver and he ducks for a second or two and is completely immune, then performs the standard 'hit everything around me' type move.

In addition, perhaps combining it with a directional button could cause him to parry incoming attacks. So if he press it with no direction, he just dodges and then hits everything around him, but if an enemy is in melee and they swing a punch at you and you press SPECIAL+the direction the enemy is facing at right time, you will catch the enemy and perform a strong counterattack (it would deal more damage than the regular SPECIAL but would only hit that one target probably. Could even have a random animation each time to make his close-combat really reflex-looking and flashy.

I also think perhaps it could cost power instead of health in order to get the sense that it's actually an ability since spider-sense probably isn't physically draining to use, but perhaps costs the same as special? Or perhaps once he runs out of power, it starts costing health instead?

Wish I could remember my other ideas :/

I'm loving the way Greece looks. It's so different from the rest of the game, and Spiderman seems like he's coming along really well, although I'm surprise to see so much about him when he's not playable in the next demo. I thought we'd see more of like Scarlet Witch and such? Not that I'm complaining. I've been excited for Spiderman for a while, haha.

That is the idea, since the game is little too linear at the start.

Because he is a fan favorite. And this is the only reason I won't add him as a playable character on the next demo - he would outshine any other new character, for sure.

Scarlet is in very early stages, then I stopped for a while to work more on the stage rather than on characters. We already have many players, but few stages.
