The only poison immune characters on the game are Thor, Vision and Wolverine (and I am not convinced about the last one, since he has healing factor, but its not immune).

I decided to include the Hydra Base stage on the next beta, whish me luck :)

(I am not convinced about the overlay)

The overlay is nice an simple and more importantly it matches the look of your game and your hud.. If you change it you might want to change more... But it looks great with the game  so why fix whats not broken :P
 
oh you mean that glowing blue color of the stage?  Not the bio?  Then i think you could maybe add some myst over the stage or make it a little darker if it's night.

The Hydra stage is made of 5 stages - 1 transition + 4 stages, but we have only 4 Hydra bosses. Since I have no time to edit a new boss, which would be the best option:

A) Whirlwind
B) Trapster
C) Viper Again

Tactical Force (Iron Man) will be used on the transition stage. Then you will fight Bowman (Hawkeye), Hammer (Thor) and finally Militant.

Now Emma's mind control lasts until the character is being controlled dies and works in full long range, since its a mind attack.

But mind control doesn't works on bosses.

I choose Trapster for variance. Player should be dealing with his traps before finally facing him ;)

Once you got it, he changes the animation and says something random :)
 
I've spent the weekend coding this, reworking Hydra second stage and coding Trapster the way I wanted to.
Basically, Trapster uses his polymer adhesive as main attack. But uses it in very different ways:

- Can shoot directly towards the player. Once it connects, player will be held in place for about 3 seconds, tinted with the glue color and with glue over his body.
If player receives an attack, the glue explods and releases the player.

- Can shoot a rain of glue (kinda like War Machine's War Destroyer), which falls randomly on the screen and remain in place for a while. If the player steps on it, the normal behaviour takes action (hold player in place). Works like a trap.

- Can shoot a solid ball of polymer, which doesn't hold the enemy but does more damage (the normal glue does damage too), works like a projectile.

- Can create a hand shaped stream of polymer, which attacks the player and retracts (like TMNT Baxter attack)

- And can leave a trap polymer on the ground. This trap will randomly changes to a Poisonous Polymer (poisons the player), a Corrosive Polymer (burns on touch) or a Freezing Polymer (self-explanatory).

 
Trapster attacks you before even you reach the final of the stage. I've made a system where a shoutbox appear then he attacks



And once you fight him, he will never alone - he calls for helper whenever he is the only enemy on the screen.

Its exaclty what happens - the picture appears and he says something, then proceed to attack the players.

Trapster was great, a few weeks ago I saw it in an animated series. And those glue stains, I'll remember that episode, I really look great.

Another question, some time ago you comment if there was the possibility of varying by level the NPC of civilians. Asking for help and running. This could be done in this new demo, And also the ones that are now. Let there be 3 types of civilian npc

IMO, Whirlwind should replace the first instance of Hydra Golem. Will Klaw and Living Laser still appear?
