You'd make it fast enough to be quicker than getting around by walking, but with the sink and emerge animations it wouldn't be instant. That way it's useful without encroaching too much on someone like Nightcrawler.

I am trying to update the game asap - MAYBE I will do it this weekend, but its small chance.

I've been working on a new scenario for the Avengers game, where we will have a "dynamic" light effect.

Finally, I had time to implement a detail that I think gives more dynamism to the scenario: There is a monitor near the door that shows an animation of noise.

Each boss that arrives causes the monitor to show a small animation of that boss, which returns to the noise animation when the boss is killed :)

And the bg layer now has parallax.
 
A small preview of one of the scenarios in the Sentinels chapter, which is still a work in progress.

I'm working on this special update for the pandemic, but I still don't have a date yet - just that I want to release it as soon as possible.

As I explained in a previous post, we already have the winners of the poll to choose the 2 new characters to be added that, exceptionally in this update, will be available from the beginning of the game - in the next update, they will need to be unlocked in their respective chapters.

Sorry for the lack of videos, my life has been pretty chaotic lately. And I would like to thank the support of everyone who helps me to continue - it's getting harder and harder, but I'm still here thanks to you.

I like this Sentinel chapter but I'm wondering why we've got the Comix Zone TNT item here?
I will help you with some missing sprites after an update of my current project.

By the way, I remember I don't know Openborstats's version you use (seen in your 7 hours- length video). Could you tell me where if it's possible to DL this?

I also wonder where the background of the Sentinels chapter is from...

16-bit Fighter my OpenBOR stats is the latest one - 0.67. it's on the downloads section here.

That stage is a mix of some stages. The ground comes from Final Fight 3,  the moving background comes from xmen arcade but painted in red and the capsules I can't remember if they came from captain commando or from Cadillac and dinosaur because Jhfer included them on the stage

It's looking greater each update!
As a fan of arcade games, i must say;
i LOOOVE that this is based on "Captain America And The Avengers" and expands on it greatly, while keeping the classic arcade gameplay intact and alive.
Simply put, it is my favorite OpenBOR Marvel project.

I am working on some commissions first (and some I can't talk about in public) so this is why things are a little silent here, but I am working on this here and there and there are already some nice content that I hope to show soon.
I've sent the game to few beta testers and the feedback is being VERY positive, which mades me happy :)

So even if the update is taking longer than I would like, the result is very pleasing, with new mechanics, new challenges, etc.

New stage & bosses - Ahab & Mega Sentinel.
Due to the high volume of work in real life and some health problems, I had to slow down the work on this game. But I finally got the time to make a video.

This is one of the new phases of the sentinel chapter which, despite being short, is full of challenges and has high difficulty, depending on who is playing.

Some things are still unfinished (animations are missing in the scene, you need to regulate the difficulty of the smaller sentinels, etc.) but I like the result.

Ahab & Mega Sentinel function as 2 bosses on the level and both need to be defeated to finish it. Mega Sentinel has different attacks depending on how much health it has and shows damage to the face if it has little health.

I hope you like the result, because I liked it a lot :)
 
Amazing like ever, i love the great and giant Sentinels :)
A little detail maybe, at 7 min in video there is great water on background, maybe you can animate it, but it's a detail ;)
