magggas: Your new anims are very good and, if I have your agreement, they can be added to the main spritesheet (and you will be credited).

kimono Wow that was fast!! This is crazy to me when i think that sometimes it takes me two days for just two or three of such custom sprites i posted. So yeah, this is helping me a lot!
Sure you can add the sprites i posted to the spritesheet and you don't need to credit me, it's okay for me. The only thing is that i only have them on this bigger size.

Now if it's really okay for you, here are some more for Kunio the last i would need for him. You can make them on their normal size as usual and i will do the resizing myself later:


By the way, i know that Kunio has already the back-grabbed sprites but they are not fit with the animations of the DD enemies. so this is way i need these from above.

Now these are really the last for Kunio. And by the way, the Sticks attacks don't really have to be the exact same animations as Billy's in case you can create something different for Kunio. But if not that's cool too if he can at least have these Sticks attacks:

 
I updated the images above with, for fun, a bokken weapon that we can find in Kunio-Kun arcade with the requested baseball bat.
Back grabs anims were already present previously. That's all folks for today, stay tuned for the rest very soon ;).

kimono Thanks for the update with the extra sprites! They all look good!
About the Back grabbed sprites i requested, this is because i can't use the original ones from Kunio with the DD enemies. Their animations just don't match with each other. So if you could transform Billy's back grabbed sprites that wuld be cool.
 
magggas Hello, I found that in levels with steps, the enemy uses "attack + kick" when falling down and sometimes uses a jump and high kick (not a jump attack). I tested it several times and encountered it several times but did not have time to record it.


I see that the action is a jump, kick the action in the plane, as shown in the figure: but the jump

magggas: The spritesheet is updated above with a new frame and entirely revised backgrabs anims. I added a new alternate palette to Kunio.

If you mean that when pressing the two buttons the character instead of performing its special attack, he is just jumping and performing the normal kick like in picture, then yeah this is happening some times. The thing is i don't have any explanation on why this is happening. I checked many times my keyscript but there is nothing wrong from what i can tell. So i don't know..  :-\

Yes, but I found that the probability problem only occurs occasionally on the steps. I feel that this is the case when the tracking range reaches the level.
 
magggas my man I'm glad you are still working on your game!  I hope you are fine with all this virus $hit. gotta catch you on msgs, whenever you have some time for sure, can't wait to see the updates!

Nothing really impressive, but I tried something for a Kunio remap.
I use some more usual color scheme of Kunio games.
I based some colors from his sprite in Kunio Dodgeball on Neo Geo

For now my goal is to add Marian and Kunio as playable characters. About adding a side story, i'm playing with this idea but i don't know yet. It depends a lot of how long it will take me to complete the two characters and also if i will finally come up with any good idea for this. We see..

For now here is a test of Kunio without weapons for now. By the way nedflandeurse i'm using the color palette  you posted  ;)
Anyway, here is what i have so far:

 
the result is so awesome!
Kunio looks so badass and fun to play !

About the color, I'm glad it doesn't clash with DD characters.

About the special story mode, I would say, it would be good, but now I just would like to try the update with new characters!

Hi magggas, I'm glad that you've made some progress with this Kunio character. I know that he needs some small reshanding on his hands and outfit but it's not so shocking.
That's ok if you release first Kunio-kun and Marian, two of my favorite characters :p (Andre the Giant is great too!).

Tell me just if you need some more sprites for Marian ;).
