Hi, I'm new here.

Forgive me for asking but...Is there any chance that your next update will enable a 4 player co-op mode? locally of course. I don't mean to complain but, me and my friends have played the 2 versions of the D&D arcade games before and both of them were awesome.

It's just not the same  if I were only to play it on single or a 2 player mode. I'm just asking..

 
Hi Seeker, welcome to the boards. 

4-players would be nice but would require a lot of work to update.  First, the mod is 320x240 and you'd have to change it to be 480x640 so its not too crowded.  That would require editing all of the backgrounds to make them taller, and changing all the enemy spawns. 
Then, you'd have to add in extra enemy spawns that are conditional (they only spawn if there's 3 or 4 players) so the game's not too easy.

The sheer amount of work involved, and the difficulty in finding the free time to do this means its not very likely in the near future.  However, if someone else wanted to edit the game to add something like 4 players, they certainly have my blessing to do so!
 
I understand, thanks for replying Count. I'm fully aware how much work it would take to do all the coding. It was just a suggestion though. Thanks again.
 
No worries Seeker, it's a great suggestion and I would love it too - D&D is all about a party of adventurers exploring and questing together, and 4 players would be nice. 
Realistically, for us to include it in the game would require extra help because of the time involved to do it.

alright I just got done playing though the evil quest:

I noticed a few things:

I noticed when you go into the evil quest, you lose the horse and the magic carpet!! Don't know if that was on propose or something I did.

I was playing with the assassin and I noticed he can't really attack up close like the moves go right threw the enemy character!  You have to hit them right at the edge of the sword, like hitting small enemies like the scorpions are really hard to hit.

Maybe it's my slow computer but some of the dialog doesn't show up, or maybe I'm pressing the attack button to quick, I had a hard time figuring out what to do because the text is either too quick or slow.  Again that's probably something on my end though.


Anyways it's a really good game bro, though like I said last time, if you don't know what your doing your screwed lol!!

Well the one who paid the horse and gained magic carpet are heroes not the champions so when you start evil quest, they aren't carried over :)
 
Folks, how do I get this mod working on android? The pak file within the zip folder is like 0kb. Has this not yet been compiled for android os?
 
You just need to use borpak / make-pak on the data folder to make a pak.  It'll work on Android (although you might have trouble reading the text because when testing it, it would skip to the last page of text in a dialogue sequence when you push the button once).  But still fully playable.

use like you would in the PC: copy the data folder to the OpenBor folder, and put that 0kb .pak file in the Paks folder. It should work. I'm not sure what that does with the other paks/mods you have - I *think* I once had an issue whenever I would start any other mod, it would only play the one in the data folder.
But it does work without making paking the file, I really did it once. :)
Just expect it to take a lot of time to load (specially if you have a slower phone), because there are tons of files in this game!
