Hmm...nah. Here are some SNES, SOR nd Arcade size comparisons, and i'm taking care about this, not like other projects, i want grapihics to feel cohesive. About SBM as a character, trust me he needed the glow, he is worth being int this game, plus, people don't know how many characters are going to be in the final version, so enjoy the ride until it ends on season 3. I am capable of making an actual sock to be in this game with a proper moveset, trust the process heh.

Just recolor the arcade sprites to more closely match the SNES characters. I could do some tests if you want.

No, I won't. Check the sprites size of the Arcade and SNES sprites of Captain Commando and the SOR characters, I put Guy there for a reason. You can clearly see they don't match in size and they look like elves next to him. I am not using them at all. The game roster is locked, and it will have a plethora of characters, the ones with the proper sprites size.

I think SBM isn’t that fitting either, his shading style is off compared to the Capcom characters making him look pillow-shaded by comparison to them. The way his muscles are defined in line art is stronger than the Capcom characters too. It’s not just about size. But size wise he fits in perfectly fine.

Looks great! I am really digging the updated Cody looks (his new head). And may I ask - is Guy gonna get the same treatment maybe? For his hair/head to look more like his SF Alpha version, which is, definitely, more detailed and interesting compared to his FF1/3 looks.

~ Added a couple more enemies in the unlockable FF1X mode
~ Obstacles contain random item drops
~ Special boss deaths depending on who you are using and what do you use for defeating him.
~ New music custom made for the project


~Stuff to look for: Correcting a few things from the characters in game movelist.

Alright! Having played the game, it's pretty fun but the super inputs are a bit obtuse but maybe it's just me; I mostly ignored the Super moves & took down the enemy with combos/specials for the most part. Also, if you have Sonic Blast Man in the game, will Sonia be able to join too?

The entire SBM team will be in the game at some point, not focusing on getting more females only.

I actually really like the gameplay of the Shoto Trio and their tag mechanics; it makes me wonder about the possibility of an entire game based around tag-team trio switching mechanics in beat em up form. It’s just really fun to switch them mid-combo.

It's been done, but sadly not released. @Orochi_X back on LavaLit had a King of Fighters project with a tag mechanic. If I remember correctly, you couldn't do instant switch combos though, because it worked by the tagging fighter jumping of the screen while the other jumped in, so only well timed juggles would work. Sadly, @Orochi_X is long gone. He showed up very briefly in 2022 after almost 10 years, then very quickly vanished again.

I had an idea to do it as a Sonic the Hedgehog project because of games like Heroes and Unleashed. You'd get to pick from around 12 teams of fighters (maybe a team edit mode too down the line), each with tag combos and a "Team Blast".

I like Chin and the ninja in UDD.
I'd prefer the switch mechanic as a optional feature in beat em ups generally speaking.
