Hello!

Please let me introduce myself congratulating this community. I discovered OpenBOR just about two months ago and I'm very excited with it. While I can also play my favourite classic arcades with an emulator, the people here have been able to produce lots of modules with new features and crazy gameplay that provide a totally renewed experience. Thank you very much.

And now straight to the point. I wasn't happy with Jennifer working in old OpenBOR versions only, so I've been testing it with OpenBOR v3.0 Build 4153 while trying to fix the problems with no changes in the gameplay. I want to say, this module is/was amazing, really enjoyed every bit of it, even if some sections seemed a bit hard for a newbie like me XD. I really hope that jennifer 2 is eventually released sometime, I'd love to see more.

Hey, though I'm still not aware of the old forum drama, I am glad to hear you're still working on these games. Jennifer will always be one of my top favorite OpenBOR games of all time. I have been waiting, I wanna say ten years for Jennifer 2. Thanks for making this one such a long time ago and you really left an impact on me with it.

Hate to disappoint you @thefallenalchemist, but I'm the one who posted the download. @masterderico is not here and AFAIK not working on Jennifer or its sequels. That said, when I upgraded the forum I considered it a new start and lifted all bans and restrictions. He can return if he chooses to.

@DCurrent if you want i have tested this game for the b6412 and fix 2 bugs.

- Unlock the cheat menu (because the game is very hard)
- Fix palette of "f" boss in Stage 5 Level 1
- Remove the invisible hole in Stage 1 Level 3

I doubt @masterderico would be OK with you enabling cheats and calling it a fixed version. I would suggest you try contacting him first and see what he has to say.

For sure, and cheat is easy to add or remove, the most important is more the two other bugs.

Personally i play games with my little 6 years old girl, if there is no Cheats it is impossible to finish games ;)
But no worry, i don't play this violent game with her :ROFLMAO:

I missed you guys a lot, and thanks DC, i really like and admire you as a person!

About Jennifer, yes u can enable cheats, do whatever u want...Just don't change nothing "in game" (enemies, positions, colors, translation...)

The version here is the right OB version to play the game the way it is. If not, tell me and i upload the right version of OB to run it.

I have some ideas about remake and mix Jennifer 1 and 2 together, for that reason, u dont need to change nothing, let this work for me lol.

As i said, im fine with cheat code enable, the game is hard and old, so u can do it.

I remember playing it a lot of years ago and really liking the presentation ad some things of the gameplay. There were some things to polish in my opinion (ammount of enemies and other things) but was a really good game.

Sor 2x has some of those problems too at the beginning, some balancing problems here and there

Yeah, there's a lot to polish... That's why im thinking about a remaster, reboot, or something like that.

Man i have lots of projects stuck, i need time and dedication...
My job now is all home office, everything i don't want to see in the end of the day is a computer lmao... But i'll find some time. I love do mods!

I Understand XD, hope you can find some free time to put on a remaster/remake in the future.
I told kratus too to try to not get burn out doing sor x. Because even with the low knowledge i have about openbor, after learning new things you start to understand better the fucking ammount of work done to complete these projects.

Sometimes as fans we ask a lot withou realizing all this XD.

Yeah, and i love innovation...All my mods i tried something different.

I did so many tricks 11 years ago for some things to work, that now with the evolution of OpenBor, i can do with a single command...

There's no other solution: Study the engine, look the new features, trial and error.

DC im kind lost...If i want to create a thread with an exhibition of a gameplay mechanic, where i upload the module to create a download bar on the up right of the thread ? Is that possible ?
