Ah, so that's how Skull joins the fray. I had thought so. :)

Question: now that Bloodbane has shared his Fly mode script, do you plan to reupdate all flying characters? With so many playables, this game will never reach completion!  LOL

In any case, I do hope you add it to Storm and make her shine when flying - like, her best attacks come from above.

Hey buddy, as I said at IMT, Wendigo's attack is misaligned.

About Scarlet Spider...hum, maybe it could be cool. There are tons of Spiderman clones (but some are just clones anyway), maybe you could make some alternate modes based on his palette. But some others are very cool. I plan to add The Spider on game, for example.

Also I was surprised to see Hulk with a gun??

I just remembered, Wendigo often says his name, as seen on the comics and on the arcade X-men.

There's a comment on the video, saying Red Skull lost the Cube and now wants to get it back. I suppose he's not really aiding the heroes, it's more like "enemy of my enemy..." ;)

Its not Hulk, its Red Hulk, its a different person, not only a Hulk on another color.

Plus, when we say Hulk are talking about someone which have many incarnations. On Capcom games, they use the Savage Hulk, the version where he doesn't speaks right (like HULK SMASH LITTLE HUMAN) and have a more hunched stance. On the Avengers: Earth Mightest Heroes, Hulk walks on a erect position and speaks normallt - That is The Merged Hulk/The Professor.
 
i started red hulk and us agent only to be enemys, later i decide to make they like extra playable chars, just because was easy to do.

scarlet spider cant be done like a spiderman pallet, so is so much work to do just another spider, even if i do 1 or 2 different moves.

did't know he wasn't Dr. Banner...

about the merged Hulk, yeah he's the one who got married and fought supermn on amalgam. I thought he was the same "savage hulk" but with his two personalities together, and from time to time svage hulk came back. CLearly that merged Huk wasn't the one on Planet Hulk/Hulk world war...
 
at snes game he didnt walk, but i tink i can fix it now.
this time im not worried with a release date.
 
next video coming tonite, with shocker, rogue and songbird,
im close to finish roster updates, and then start new stages and enemys.

Sugestions to storm?
 
Hum, she needs some heavy wheater control. Maybe freeze some part of the ground, kinda like Subzero in MKII (she did this a lot of times in the cartoon). Could be tricky to do, but she could have some static discarge on her once she uses any eletric attack, which randomly attacks any nearby enemy. Try her at Avengers Alliance and you will understand.

ah, remember that wind effect Bloodbane put on whirwind? She could use it too.
 
just one question about this amazing looking mod - how do you give a character that extra stats image on the select screen?

its they WAIT animation.

Zv,another idea: since in many games eletric attacks does more damage in robots (Final Fantasy is one of them), maybe you could make her do more damage when attacking robotic chars.

on the robot enemies,put this:

defense attack10 1.4

So on her lighting attacks, use attack10 on the attackbox.This will make the move cause a 140% damage (1.4)

building on that, would it be possible to have, on a select screen, the WAIT animation, and the stance below that? and does the WAIT animation have to share the character palette, given that i'm running in truecolour mode?
 
Hey buddy, that is a nice video! And I really envy your speed, lol

Red Skull: The new stance is way better. Red Skull is full of himself, like the original char.
Songbird: Gate did a great job on her sprites, and you did a great job coding her. Using Beetle was a nice surprise. Judging by the video, she seams to be the best character.
Shocker: Maybe some fx when he does his runattack, since it electrify the enemies?
Gayclops: His run is amazing, but he seams smaller on that animation.
Rogue: Nice hyper move, I like how she jump to the wall and attacks. But I see  some errors on her sprites: on the walk, there is a weird feeling that only her legs move, while she uses the same torso from the standing. On the attacks where she dashes foward punching (like her MVC move), the same happens - her legs doesn't moves, only her torso.

She's a battlefield controller. Her powers should be able to hit far away enemies in big areas. Wind control means she can also pull/push/throw other characters (I love doing her combo finisher and see minions fly away from me). For instance, while I like that her Call Lightning (DF+A) special follows enemies, it could also generate lesser secondary bolts around primary target (including Z axis), like there's a thundercloud over the area.

Flying is her best defense. Some attacks (like her current Special) could end up lifting her into the air and putting her into flying mode, so she could move away or throw lighting bolts down.

In the 90's cartoon, Storm usually spent a lot of time calling the elements and making speeches, before attacking with them (and I loved it :D ). Having her spend some time "charging" an attack before releasing it (like current DF+A), reminds me of those moments. Being vulnerable for some time compensates the extra power, range and/or area of effect of her attacks.

I like Ilusionista's idea of creating a slippery ice. Slowing/freezing enemies with snow storm. That makes her an even better battlefield controller.

I think her best attacks should be airborne. She could have a special that can only be used when flying, like calling a tornado that slowly moves across the screen, a sequence of lightning strikes (like Magneto's Shock-wave) or a widescreen snowstorm, while she's left vulnerable controlling it.
 
Like the video and the updates for the characters especially Cyclops's run animation looks really good. Also I agree Erf Beto's suggestions about Storm since she can control the elements like rain, ice, and wind weather patterns like adding a ice elemental to freeze or slow enemies' movement would make her a more effective and efficient fighter.

For Wolverine I was thinking using the X-Men Clone Wars 2 sprites of it since the SNES version he looks smaller or add his run animation when he lunges at enemies and tear them to shreds.
