THis is awesome!
I only regret to have been spoiled about these bonus stages !  ;)

I can't wait to give it a try!

Hello my friends!
It is good to be back, even if it is not with the continuity of before.
But step by step I am finding my new path.
Together with my daughter, who has been my great friend and companion, in the most difficult moments, I returned to work a lot in the mod. So with pleasure I can share the result of all this work.
Here you can see the completely new look of Batman.
All the sprites were created by my daughter Carolina, using a Batman model for the MikuMikuDance program.
It was an arduous job, but the result was worth it.

Good  to see you around, buddy.

Yeah, I think its fits better to the rest of the game. But I think there is a missing highlight on the model, called "specular", which gives depth to the model. It would be good to add it, since the digitalized characters has it and even the modeled character with purple pants has it.

By the way, that character is called ID, a very old character done by a very old Mugen creator called Kazmer13 - oh boy, it's a blast from the past!

Since the character appearance was based on a real person - the author itself - I think it could be cool to let him know about it. Maybe he can even help you.

Here is his channel, where you can see his work https://youtu.be/Y3tdRjTPqlA

Thanks for the tips about the look of Batman, but my daughter and I, we are more than satisfied with the result.

About the ID character, I'm definitely going to take it into account.
Thank you!

Honestly, I think the old Batman suited the visual style of the game better. The new one looks very good, your daughter is talented, but it doesn't fit with the rest of the game's visuals as the old Batman did.

In particular he looks way too big/tall!

I can live with it though ^_^

Thanks for your feedback my friend!
About the size, the problem comes with the original sprites.
The program that my daughter uses, creates sprites with a minimum size of 640 x 480.
When reducing them for the mod, if it reduced it more they lost a lot of definition.
So finally choose to make a higher Batman.
But I assure you that the height is not very out of place.
It has the same height as Vega, is a bit lower than Robocop and obviously much lower than Zangief.

Even if I liked the older Batman, I feel thin new one OK.
Perhaps he misses some contrast (looks too much grey or something)

But again, it's really promising!
It's nice to have the support of your daughter, the actual heroine of the game  ::)

Finally I decided to retouch the sprites, add 30 brightness and 20 contrast.
Without a doubt, it looks much better.

I made some tests, take a look. From left to right, the first is the original one,
The second was archived using some contrast, the others needs manual edit

See how the last version has more bright areas and more shawdows between his legs.

Here is the second version as png, so you can get the palette if you want

Since all the parts shares the same color (the cape, the boots, the legs...), it would be a nightmare to fix this character :(
There were a Arcade Batman game, why don't you tried that sprite?

Thanks for your help, I see the change.

About the Batman forever Arcade, I don't like the sprites of this game.
Thanks!

i change all the sprites with yor palette and looks much better.
Thanks my friend!
