Greetings my friend, an excellent job, I know that there is much work to do, but continue with your expiration and dedication, a big hug.

Batman is playing great really enjoyed the preview video.  Why are batman's boots grey they should be the same black as his gloves, mask and cape.

Glad you like it my friend!
About  the color of the boots, don't worry, it's because of the fog that passes in front of the characters.
In the time 1:39 of the video, you can see when Batman performs the Second fatality and then you can see the real color of his boots.
;)

Hello my friend!
Thanks for your words.
I appreciate your support and that of all the friends who have always encouraged me to continue with this project.
I am currently more focused than ever on the project and I have plenty of motivation.
I have managed to solve and correct many problems that have been around for a long time. I am currently adding some levels to the first stages, so that every Stage has 3 levels.
I also decided to replace some levels with others of better quality, or in some cases edit the levels to make them look better.
After finishing this, I just have to continue with Vega to complete the new demo.

Great progress with Bruce. Bringing a whole new level of dark to the Dark Knight.

Off topic but I would love to see how you would handle an established beat em up mod, seeing how you do so well in terms of moveset variety.

Although without a doubt there is still a long way to go before my mod is completely complete, I admit that it is in my plans to continue creating games. I can assure you that among my next projects I would be a more classic beat em up and not as ambitious as my current project.
Although I would definitely give my personal touch to the gameplay.

can't wait to see what else is in store for this mod. & trembling with excitement towards your next project.

Hello my friends!

Lately I am working more than ever in the game and making great updates and changes to further improve the final result of the next demo.

One of the major changes is that now all stages will be composed of a minimum of 3 levels. For which I have tended to add some new levels, so that all the stages would fit with this.
I have also worked hard to improve the appearance of some levels, as well as I have decided to replace some with a completely new one.

Here the first change of all, is stage 1-1, which is completely new.
Here we can see the back of Carolina's house, where the adventure begins ...

Nice! Do you add some items from photo and others from games to create your playground? Can we interact with the basketball hoop?

About items, I don't thik so my fiend.
And about the hoop, No, you can´t interact with the hoop, It is simply part of the decoration.

No I think he is asking you how do you create your levels. Like is it stock images edited together or some elements from games.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood.
Thanks for the correction my friend.

My apologies, I do not always handle the language well ...

About your question, I try to mix material of the games and images that I look for, and then edit them at my whim.
The floor of the court, the hoops and the columns of light, I found them browsing and looking for images.

After an arduous editing process, I achieved the desired result.

Great! I like the originality of this BG.

actually in beat em ups, I like when you don't just put usual stages. :)

I like the idea of 3 levels per stage, no matter how long the game is, it will never get boring if you have that fabulous decorations at backgrounds and all those variety of characters and moves as well, great job as always I just have to say thank you. Waiting for the new demo.

Nice progress.
I have some points about those stages:

On this case, I see two things wrong - the shadow direction and the shadow intensity.
The light doesn't comes from the top, but from the top left (you can watch the walls to see it). And the shadows should be more transparent - those hard black shadows happens only when you have a strong sun (like 12:00). You can make it more transparent.

The lights from the posts looks very unrealistic because light doesn't works in that way. Search in google for Light Falloff and you see see
distance_falloff_functions.jpg

To fix it is not hard - you need to blur the borders (you made the opposite) and make it more transparent when it gets away from the lamp.

If you want, I can fix it for you - just post that light image here.

It's nice to know that the OpenBor community continues to grow and value the great work that goes into developing a game.

About the shadow direction and the shadow intensity:

This are my values:
light -32 -96
at 0

What do you think if I put these values?
Code:
light -32 0
at 0

shadowcolor 1
at 0

shadowalpha -1
at 0

About the light, I have no idea how to modify that.
I will gladly provide you with my sprites so that you can modify them, but it would be great to have a tutorial about it.
