Been working on this, Guy new move set in last two days

as for details Guy Ki is 4 frames and Run attack anim (combos) is 11 frames.
I am kinda tired right now so I haven't had a chance to try it in game yet. Need to play AC Valhalla right now I've been putting it off for the past 4 months as I'm working on my openbor mod maybe now is the right time to play it along wih @Kratus new SORX :love:, so the work will stop for a moment

You progressed and did massive work here! If you ever need to go ahead in coding, I'll manage to help you fix details when I get more time.
Right now, Im still full of work with giving art courses and comics project almost completed that should be published in the incoming months
 
Believe it or not I am preparing different pain/fall anim for big guys (andore family dan fatso), since it would make the gameplay a bit complicated I decided to think about that later

Sorry I didn't see this before - you don't necessarily have to have separate falls. Remember models have an antigravity setting. You can use this to make characters heaver (fall faster) exactly like Capcom does in the VS. series.

I'd advise making the adjustments subtle (again like Capcom) so you don't have guys dive bombing into the Earth. Just tweak the big boys enough to make lifting them a little more challenging.

Nice start @machok, did you check Mr Q's new Final Fight mod called Fight Forever, in that mod Guy is a beast with his moves and combos, maybe you can get some inspiration from that one for further updates on Guy in your mod. Keep up the great job and best of luck in your mod. Cheers bud 💪

what I remember is if I use antigravity it will effect to all anim

Yes I know Fight Forever, the combos are amazing. I may not be able to do what Mr. Q did with his mod but it's the gameplay that I made is quite different
 
I think slow the run animation down a little maybe delay by 2 and the speed (run distance) should be abit faster, right now he looks like he's moving his body quickly but not going very far.

this is true, I'll edit the run asap
 
Hmm too much delay makes guy's movement quite slow when running and I don't like it while the speed has been added 1
I also added fireball sprites to guy Ki here:

😝 Yeah I finished 2 open world games it should feel very long
I fixed them a bit when I feel dissatisfied and here new Guy grabdown anim (total 6 frames), sprites is still rough though

Maybe if I share you my FFp Guy sprite sheet with custom sprites might help you getting more new ideas?

I got so much trouble making this o_O (also total 6 frames)
converting from ff3 sprite to CPS1 is one thing but try to make from SF Alpha to CPS1?? Man it's so hard to do

Much as I love Capcom's later sprite work, Guy is an exception. I think maybe they were wanting to make sure he didn't resemble Ryu too much, but it just comes across weird. He looks stringy and half-starved. Let's not even talk about how dumb the sneakers thing is. CPS1 Guy is a much better design overall IMO.

He did his own way by frankenspriting, so what you can do is to edit the sprites your own way. I think that depends on what graphic style you love. Don't worry about sprite conversion for his unique edits. (Edit your way that you feel is easy for you.)

Happens I am a former FGC player and have a vast experience on fighting games overall due to my tournaments assistance through the years.
Keep in mind this is SNES FF Guy, so you would have to recreate some of his animations I guess. Hope it helps!
