Canceled Strider Gaiden (working title)

Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
creator stated it was technically finished about a year ago. from his words he has two versions one with edited sprites one without. think the creator doesnt want to release it...its his baby that he took 2-3 years to make. supposedly over 2 gigs.
 
Sorry for the long delay Everyone I had a lot of miss steps in life. A break in, Luckily I had a backup on an external HDD, Two deaths in the family and my dog had a seizure and died in my arms. A guy I was training on high rise descent control, had a panic attack and I had to do a mid air rescue, I'm just tired. But above all, my girl won't let me retire this project. So I Started on it again. Like I said before, It's technically finished. All Stages, and Characters. I'm working on the last Female Strider, that will be 3 girls, and I'm done with the edits. for now. I only have to finish the stage arrangements and the the story. This mod is story driven and that is the main slowdown of progress. I don't want to release a demo cause it will take away from the entire experience. So i decided to release in parts cause it's pretty big. Like Hatchet Ninjaz, this will be a long game. As a added bonus I will also be remaking Strider X using a lot of the newer features that are in Strider Gaiden.  So now let me get to work. No release date as of now. I hope no one else dies while waiting. Thanks, and Wish me luck.
 
And remember guys, this is an original game not a remix or a remake. and a lot of it i am making up as i go alone. so new characters were added as the story progressed, and grew.

I, myself try to get out of a very bad moment for some months now.
I almost lost interest in creating anything and barely I have some taste for life.

But, I'm glad to see you around and knowing you will continue your project.
 
Man, forgot this project even existed, but nice to see you're still working on it and the amount of effort you're putting into it. I also offer my condolences for your losses, as I had lost my grandmother to cancer back in September and temporarily living with my mom to help with the bills, until we move back into my grandmother's house, which is pretty much ours now.

Hope you're able to keep working at what else needs done so we can see how this turns out, and I was a pretty big fan of Strider X and Hatchet Ninjaz as well. Now that I thought about it though, is this project a sequel to Strider X or it's own thing?

I also came here to give my condolences to you for the loss of your grandmother.  :'( It pretty reminds me of how i lost my grandma back in the summer of 2010, but i hope that you'll pull through with your project.
