I can see Galsias walking from darkness to field and also Signal jumping out. The former is great but the latter looks bad IMO. I never like how Signal jumps out in original too
Instead of Signal jumping like that, why not have Signal walks in from below (max z) to field?

By the way, there is only one thing I found a little strange - the enemies react time.
When you attack them, the animation of the hit is longer (and slower) than the attack animation, which make it looks weird.
I know that, physically speaking, the reaction animation should be a little slower than the attack one - after all, it happens AFTER the attack was made.
But on the video, they are too slow. Some dudes looks like a maggot/worm after they receive an attack.

I also think this looks fantastic. Music is kind of tinny and there's a bit of volume dissonance in the voices, but I figure that's just stuff in progress. One thing that does stick out though, is some of the hit and slam effects. Axel's Headbutt, Grand Upper, and Body Slam just don't have any impact. They need a bit of pause and much beefier sounds. One of the main issues between SOR2 and 3 that cost 3 a lot of greatness was the wimpy sound effects and loss of hit impact.

Nice work! I like any Streets of Rage related content, especially when done with dedication. I see that you are working hard, and are a perfeccionist.
Speaking about new Streets of Rage games with new sprites and content, I think that your game have too much more potential to be the true Streets of Rage 4 sequel because you kept the SoR spirit. Maybe Guard Crush Games have some difficulty against so many good "fan games", who really love SoR and know your roots.
You helped me in SoR2X, thanks for your analysis. If need something, we can help each other.

A this moment, I'm still more hyped by your project than the actual SOR4.
And I know you will make something great gameplaywhise, not just some flashy new looking game without actual news.
I'm really looking forward to see Blaze in action.

Wassup guys? I appreciate all the feedback I've received so far, just dropping by to say I'm still alive. Slowly but surely chipping away at the projects shown in here as well as a little something I've been working on here and there. Right now I'm just piecing together a new pc and set up so I can work and move more efficiently with everything.
If you tuned into some of my streams you had a little taste of what I'm working on currently. Adam for Streets of Rage Mania as well as giving Axel the final touches in graphics and fine tuning his move set to get the good feel and look. Once I've done this I will get to the trio of doom (Garcia, Donovan, Signal) and the first two stages, Blue Swan District (SoR1 stage 1-1) which will feature 3 scenes, the shopping center (seen in the most recent video), Pine Pot cafe and Back Alley battle with Antonio and Sunny Gardens (SoR1 Stage 2) which has 2 scenes so far. Blaze and Bingo's Moon Resort to follow. cheers!

Those sprites look great, attention to detail in your game is on point Mr.Din , I have been following this for long now (silent observer lol), I am a fan of SOR too. I gotta say your animating is very fluid and realistic, I am trying to do the same with my mod as Dean had a limited original sprite set so not all original animations were smooth, your work is an inspiration to me
