Hey i know i asked you this before a year ago and i don't wanna come of as annoying or anything but are you gonna add Sor3's Cutscenes or you just gonna ignore those.
Friend, we can certainly back at this feature when the main content is finished.
Initially I didn't consider it, but I will at least make some tests in the future.

SOR1 Blaze feels really fresh to play once the player gets the hang of it, as it's not just a reskin of the standard Blaze moveset :)

Any chance we could give her Onihime's air grab/slam move? The one where you press down+attack in air and she slams an opponent into the ground after a cool animation?
About this move I made Blaze different from the Onihime, in order to add a 1 star cost. Like @Blit-X- TV [LIVE] said, just press jump again during the jump animation, on the same way as the aerial throw works for SOR2/SOR3 versions.

Right first off fantastic game. Secondly how do i just pick 1 player mode in this? (PC) I have a xbox 360 controller connected but when i go into arcade mode it has 2 player selected. Is it using the keyboard as an input as well? Am i being dumb in missing an option somewhere? cheers for any help

About the Xbox 360 controller, I'm using the exact same device in all tests and already provided a pre-configured save file in the zip. At least in my tests, it only controls 1 player at once, I suggest checking the player2 controller configuration in the system menu, like @zales360 mentioned.

The keyboard also works for player1 even if the controller already is defined for player1 too. This is to add an emergency method to rebind keys if you have a previously configured device not present.

What's the difference between streets of rage x & streets of rage x classic?

The native resolutions.
  • Standard is in 480*272 - AKA 16:9 widescreen.
  • Classic is in 320*240 - Like the Genesis originals that ran 320*224 (NTSC) or 320*240 (PAL).
If I'm not mistaken, classic also has slightly different scrolling speed defaults to behave closer to the original games, but both versions have the respective scrolling speeds available as options.

The game is fine, but the windows versions were not uploaded. Looks like an issue in my connection, I'm checking it.
I discovered that my internet provider is having an issue in my region, specifically in the upload speed.
I'm trying to upload the files using an alternative connection.

The new version is the beta 34 CC2 and contains all the updates we talked about before.
If no major issues are found, this one will be launched publicly in the next week.
 
A suggestion: when we play with a character and lose all our lives, on the continue screen, if we choose to continue, the character selector should retain the last character we were playing with instead of switching to a different one. For example, I chose Axel from SOR1, but when I continued, the selector immediately switched to Axel from SOR3 instead of keeping the last one we played.
 
Hey Kratus, the best beat 'em up game, at least on OpenBOR.
And of course, I hope Sega doesn't bother you about the mods, because they have this annoying habit of harassing anyone who creates or modifies the game.

No problem, I will check the code.
Indeed it happens because the first color is always the one present in all the main sprites, the others are just remaps. If that's possible without changing the whole sprite sheet colors, I can make this change.

Also if Possible can you change the order of Axel & Blaze's Types From Sor1-Sor3-Sor2 To Sor1-Sor2-Sor3
