Hi guys,
I was expecting to release a new demo this year but by many personal reasons, this won't be possible. I will be in vaction from Dec 17 until January 6, and I plan to work more with Mugen on those days.

The team is smaller now, so I have too much to care about.
But stay with us on the next year.

I'm gonna miss her for her talent. She'd done very excellent showcases of her pixel art work including the Vanguard Princess style. RIP Valeri
 
Valeri's family needs support at this time. When somebody dies, it is up to the community to help out the family of the lost one.

Yeah, she had an style which was pretty difficult to mimic. Plus, she was very skilled in other styles too.
This is an animation she did for us, using just few sprites from the original (2 if I am not wrong) and turned into something awesome:

Like I stated before, I will be focusing more on my Mugen stuff for a while, and this project is very hard to handle alone in coding. There are some people working with us on the sprites, but the main spriter is Jhfer now. Some people had helped us with codes, but I am the main coder now. Its just to have to handle alone, and this drains my motivation.

So, we will continue working on this, but not for now, since I got too tired to work with by personal reasons. And a new beta will be released on this year, with no specific date.

I have some other ideas that I would LOVE to work with, but I can't do it alone. If I find someone to work with me (a team work), then we can talk about.

It's also sad to hear about delays, but you're a very thorough modder/coder which is why your creations are so amazing. You should not rush in any way (we are already mostly grownups playing games with graphics that are like 20+ years old! What's the rush? :P ).

But I do hope you find more experienced people to share the work with!
 
Yeah, its sad to me too, I would like to had released the new beta in 2014. Its a shame that other creators can release their full games before I can release a demo of mine, specially when they had started AFTER me...Maybe I overdo things.

Anyway, here is some comparsion between Jean, Phoenix and other chars (Spider-woman is outdated)

Her spriter is brazilian guy which already sent me many of her frames. If I had time, I could code her in no time :)

You can never over do things O.  It's about quality not quantity.  :P  Take as long as you need because it shows in your game that you took the time to make it great ^__^
