Jinrei is looking like a real ninja with the color edits.

Indeed. Jinrei had some weird colors on the original game, lol.
I remember I started to code it for Mugen decades ago but I never finished it.

The color scheme is by Bloodbane .  He did the best job of recoloring Jinrei.

Question:  Would anyone like to contribute fixing Jinrei's advatar?  It would involve increasing his hair size to the height
of Sailormoon's advatar?

Presently Sailormoon, Sailormercury, and Sailormars are large.

To me, Jinrei is that cool ninja we grew up in the 80's, 90's and early 00's.

As a ninja fanboy myself, I'm so hyped for Jinrei.

Also, Strider Hiryu and Galford colorsets? These two were mandatory characters in any of the Capcom vs. SNK fighters (SVC Chaos as well).
 
Shinmrgrill: Hey Mr. Grill. I just translated the original sprite to how you want it to be like, but a) I couldn't do colors well (due to CS metal forehead being distracting with similar dark purple colors) and b) this is not the best sprite I ever made, heheh. So, I had to use the original colors from the original icon for better coloring. At least the shading was decent. Hope somebody can fix up my errors I have on Jinrei.

Which one do you think is better for his forehead in the attachment?

OK. I was expecting somebody like nedflandeurse or kimono to make some corrections on the last or third icon I made 'cause doing 16bit graphics like Banpresto style is not my forte. :P But if everybody likes the third one, Shinmrgrill will take and use it.

I appreciate the effort you put into it.    The 3rd one is the best.
I think it's great to see one of the coolest ninja appear in the Sailor moon universe especially since they are made by Banpresto.
It's amazing how much openbor has advanced since 14 years ago.  I give credit to all of you that are masters at coding.
And others that put togeter the sprites as well.
 
To me it doesn't have to be edited more.
This 3rd portrait is already good.
And I'm not the best person make better work about portraits.

I hope finally all these custom Sailor Moon animation to be used ingame in such a project.
It sounds frustrating that all these great customs doesn't seems to have been inplemented.

I always loved this Banpresto game, it deserve an upgraded game :)
 
I’m almost finished with adding the final images for Sailor Jupiter.  The images are the following:

• Air Electricity Shock
• Air Body Slam

These were not included in the arcade.

She’s next in line to be playable.

After Sailor Jupiter, here is the order for the new playable characters once I’ve arranged the images:

•Sailor Venus
•Sailor V
•Sailor Pluto
•Sailor Saturn 🪐
•Another Guest Character



Coding should follow soon for Sailor Jupiter.

Can’t wait to add the 2 new stages i created:

•Japanese Shrine
•Hotel Stage

WIP: 
•Amusement Park from Denjin Makai with edits.
•Pinocchio
•Brett Butler

So, are the customs anims for Mars and Mecury etc already used ingame ?

About Jinrei, I can make a custom if there is not too many sprites, or if it's single sprite pose.. Just send me the existing anim/sprite to edit.
 
I'm not sure to understand everything.
I remember Sailor Mars had projects of animations, new punches, kicks, throws, specials... even some crouch attacks based on fighting game characters...)

Are these animations going to be used in an Openbor game, or Mugen game?
Are they already inplemented or WIP?

Either way, I would love to play these characters with new custom anims like this.

Also, felt sometimes frustrated trying to download games from this Sailor Moon forum, that need account.
And when I finally get to try some games, it seems to be always the same style of bor game with Snes sailors sprites.
Not really exceptionnal? I might have not DL the right stuff? (it was several year ago now...)
