Need more people to confirm this.

Sorry if I bother you, but can't you download and test yourself? I'm not trolling, only tell you what happened. You haven't also a mediafire or mega.co.nz link or another mirror?

Here mate;

the piece of art that the game deserves!!!

very nice Masterderico

The game is very cool, I like the terror felling from it.

I don't want to piss on your crops, but I think you should credit the ORIGINAL AUTHOR of the char, specially when the char was done from the scratch. The main char of your mod is Ella, by AIDUZZI.

http://mugen.wikia.com/wiki/Ella
http://mugen.wikia.com/wiki/Aiduzzi

Its not a rule, its just common sense and respect.
See ya.

AFAIK he did credit him, even on some mugen thread Aiduzzi said that it was ok for masterderico to use Ella, and found the game amazing.
the link of that thread were posted on lavalit years ago.

yeah I'm not sure if Aiduzzi was credited in-game or on a readme, but the score was settled years ago.
the problem was because MD didn't know who the author of Ella was, and on his first youtube videos got many bad comments from mugen people, but when everyone read directly from Aiduzzi, everythig got calm down.

yeah i remember that, half mugen community wanted to tear derico apart but when guy who did Ella character finally came and said its not a biggie then it was embarassing how everyone wants to be some internet special police, and  the only person who has right to be mad doesnt even care that much, some people are obsessive about credits.
Its just between person who takes artwork and modifies it and person who made that artwork first.
Some people say only original edits should get credited and sprite rips are just taken sprites, credit is not a big thing to do but sometimes you dont know the source and dont know the rules, you found something you edit it cause you like to have more of it.
I had one situation when someone took my stage from battletoads mod and said he made it and made up some stupid stories about how he made certain parts, it was very bizarre and funny to me, but i dont think i was offended or something, it was just funny, i commented that he moved back in time and taken my stuff from game, he confessed but also sadly didnt want to finish it anymore, i didnt wanted to call police for sure, its different story if you got paid for something or some serious company is using your stuff for free pays people to assemble it in graphic program and you dont even know it and it really happens, some people when making internet ads just google images and insert them into ads and not just some random pics nobody would recognize, they take well known pics.

Its not about to be "internet special police", its about to care about the other people works. At least, that was my intention when I said such thing, and not to be a kid ranting (as I read from your words). Its to try to avoid people that just thinks "everything is free to take" what, funny, its exactly why BOR was always hated on mugen communities...

This is an old discussion...and I don't want to go futher on it, if the original author is fine with that, I am fine.

Be fine.

Maybe there was some people who disliked mugen forums and community with their rules but not the engine itself so its different, i dont mind and i still dont think openbor can do everything that mugen can, still didnt seen proper vs mode implemented.
Yes first BOR mods were made using sprites ripped from sff files but many of  these mods were not good quality but what can i say about mugen  MKProject that i started, it was raped and abused so many times by some teenagers with their tremors and all these crap characters with so many bugs and problems it was really painful to see when i downloaded and tested the game and it worried me that people thought that i would approve that kind of quality in my mugen project, and i would actually prefere not be credited at all in such situation ;D. So i learned once you release something on internet its not really protected in any way no matter how hard you cry so im not attached that much to my stuff, i think if someone is using my work then he must like it very much so why would i be offended, im not ok if someone ruins gameplay and introduce bugs in my game cause people think i did it but even then i dont care that much  cause i know the truth, internet is internet, real world is real world, im not against people who protect copyrights but just because my edits are precious to me doesnt mean that theyre precious to some other sprite editor and he doesnt care that much if someone is using them.
In the end we all like fighting games so we should help each other dont pretend and act like police vs thieves community cause its just silly sometimes.
Besides mugenguild was good for me when i did mk in 2004 but now theres tons of new people there who dont have a clue who started what, i think my credit in mkproject was even removed later but i dont care that much.
When derico was asked on mugen forums why he didnt give credit then i had to calm people down in thread and i was ultimately right, original author did not care that much, if someone wants his work to never be copied or mixed or whatever then dont release it or else someone might like it and try to do something with it.
Anyway i credit people for everything but i wont force others to credit me and wont be upset about some internet thief, unless im losing money im ok.
If someone is using my work to sell something im not ok but free is free, i decided to release it and i needed reality check, theres no way to protect besides not releasing at all.

he engine itself so its different, i dont mind and i still dont think openbor can do everything that mugen can, still didnt seen proper vs mode implemented

Yeah, I plan to take a look at that somewhere down the road.

i think my credit in mkproject was even removed later but i dont care that much.
Yeah I remember you said that. Its sad. MKP have a lot of issue with him (fights and etc).

Those kind of things is what bring me here to BOR...

Masterderico,
I need your help- got a hold of a certain version of your game Jennifer from a few years (or something close to that) back. It is roughly 314megs in size. It does not load in openbor 3 but It unpacked fine in pakxplode.

What version of the game was this? Is it an old demo, etc? Just really curious due to the much larger file size than the current released one.

masterderico I hope one day you remake this game with your own stuff. Because I would be the first one to pay money for this amazing game :) but right now Im about to download it :D

I was able to finish this awesome game a couple weeks ago, very brutal and grotesque yet brilliant gameplay and imagery. Definitely one of the most polished mods I've have played since Nightslashers X.

Just trying to keep this game in the public eye. Another custom art piece for The Master and his Minions.

Masterderico,
I've been a beat-em-up fan for some time now, as long as I can remember actually, after tonight, jeez, how should I put this, I played some of Jennifer. I got to after the rape scene stage.
You have done things in this game I have only dreamed of seeing in a beat em up (the mechanics lol) you did something to one of my favorite genre's that I never thought possible. It's something else. I was really surprised, and I cannot wait to see what you will be doing next. Hopefully it's something original so I can pay for it. Btw the blood the blood! Now I can start on my first one, Inspired by the great Materderico!
