Hi great visuals and good game although i found a bug in the first stage that happens when a enemy does not come and you stay locked in that screen, cant go further!!

About the bug in the first stage, I never see that and no one find before something like this.
Thats very rare.

I noticed that the biker guys are a real pain in the you know what lol!!!  Like there is way too many of them at one time as I kept on losing lives lol!!  Or maybe that's my classic gameplay at work lol!! ;)

Also at the end it takes a while for it to load to the other mission (right before it tells you the demo is over), I don't know if that's a bug or not since the demo is done there!!

Everything is extremely when done man loving everything about it the moves and atmosphere, everything is just well done!!  And I'm loving what you did with the Bat's man, all his moves (especially the fatality) is sweet!!

Looking forward to the final version man!!

Hello my friends!
Sorry I absented much, but I needed a break. Also during this time, I had great personal problems.
Today everything is better and finally I can continue to work as before in the game.
Beyond my absence and all the problems, always try to make time for work some time in the mod, and achieve much progress to end all members of the new gang. Soon I'll upload some images.
I have also created new stages and this is where I encountered a problem.
I created a stage like in Crime Buster, on a bridge. In this bridge there holes in the bottom and at the top.
Those on top are the problem, because to work properly it is necessary to place a similar entity the floor, just below the hole to cover the entities When fall.
The entity is place in the red marked.
All work properly when the enemies or players fall, the entity cover their fall.
The problem is when the players or enemies walk over this entity,  the shadow of the characters not seen.
The same bug happend in the Crime Buster mod.

So today is any way to fix this bug?
 
(I don't remember receiving a bug for characters' shadows not appearing in it.)

You can take a look this because White Dragon did the scripted shadow for two split platforms. Plus he included a video. You can include a scripted shadow for a single platform.

Otherwise, you could make a bridge panel as a panel entity. I'm not sure if that default hole sprite could appear when bridge panel is set as panel entity.
 
Hello my friend!
To understand better this bug you can play the level "bridgew.txt" of the CRIME BUSTER mod.
Then when reach a hole in the top of the screen, you can see when the characters walk in the bottom, over the street down of the hole, the shadow of the characters not seen.
 
What a nice bunch of enemies.
No problem with the actual size of the sprites? I have not checked myself.

Bambam and HBK are still very recognizable.
I suggest at lest giving HBK some head detail to change his appearance. (some bandana and a beard, or something.) Just simple editing + copy paste would be OK.

Hope you fixed you problem with hole and shadow. Thi is something I get to see in my project since the ring is a platform.

Anyway. Still some nice stuffs to come!

About edit that 2 enemies, I think the same.
I just want to show some of the new enemies.

About the bug, maybe Bloodbane can understand how fix this, because he use this system for the hole in the top of the screen in their mod Crime Buster.

Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about that, sorry. Entities by default will overlap shadows
 
You can solve this by triggering a direct sprite draw to the screen configured with drawmethod settings identical to a shadow. It's nearly identical to the technique seen in RocketViper where a working television monitor in the background shows the real on screen action.

It's quite complicated though, and probably beyond what you want to do just for a temporary shadow replacement.

When I finished the game, I can surely add more heroes but the universe of Mortal Kombat.
Sorry, but Kim Wu is not in my plans.

Finally find a way to solve this problem.
I use a fglayer to cover  the custom floor.
This way look better when player walks over the custom floor and shadow can not be seen.

Now the bridge level is complete and I can continue working on other levels.
